At the pizza/convenience/video store in Clementsport on the way back to Annapolis. Mmmmm! Ice cream and Doritos.

Moore River Ride July 15, 2007
Junction Hill nearly did us in, but after that it was a piece of cake, or was it an ice cream cone?
Adrian, Kent, Keith, Sally, and Susan rode out the Princedale rode, had a hilarious break at Art and Alice White's yard sale. Sunday prices were in effect and there was one item in particular that had some of us scratching our helmets as to what it's use could be. Adrian knew right away that it was a cable puller. Of course!
After a lovely looong coast down along the Moose River we headed for Annapolis on Rte 1 after fortifying ourselves with ice cream and Doritos at the gourmet pizza place In Clementsvale.

Heartland breakfast july 9
July 9, 2007
Adrian, Kent, and Susan cycled out to Cornwallis for a 7:30 am breakfast with the Heartland Bike Tour. 20 doctors, patients, and friends were cycling from Yarmouth to Sydney to raise awareness of heart health and the benefits of riding on 2 wheels.
We were met at Cornwallis by Deb and Kieran, so the CyclePaths were well represented. Deb and Kent said a few words, handed out Annapolis County flashing lights and bike maps, while the rest of us did what we do best: EAT.
Then we rode back to Annapolis, and watched the peloton zoom down the road to Wolfville.
And we were done by 9:30 am.

Honey, our honorary CyclePath
More memorable moments from the Mersey River - Kedge ride.
Let's not forget the CyclePath who may not ride with us, but whose presence is always welcome. Honey and her cookies, bars, and cakes. Yaaay! Thanks, Honey.

Canada day sun july 1 Kedge_2
The pause that refreshes; on the trail to Mason's Cabin, Canada Day, Sunday, July 1.
O Canada Day ride

OK let's see if I can figure out how to post photos from Flickr to this blog. Bear with me. I still live in the world of dial-up.
Yes, I know there are 2 photos of the boardwalk. Enjoy it twice as much. Dale and Adrian are waiting for Canada Day cake at the Kedge visitors' center, as is Greg. And that little stuffed loon belongs to Rich.
